I solved a Skewb!

I've never solved anything like that on my own before. I was pretty happy with myself. I see on some web page now that every configuration can be solved in at most 11 moves. Mine took, ehrm, more than that. But I'm happy anyway.

My friend Mike from Boston is coming to Chicago at the end of May. At that point we will pack my Honda Civic with as much of my stuff as it will carry and sell, donate, or throw away the rest. After that: roadtrip, destination Orange County, California. Mike will fly back to Boston in mid-June. I will stay.

Did everybody in the world know about Regina Spektor except me? I think they must have. But in case it was actually everybody in the world except me and you: Check out Regina Spektor, she's got some good songs. Not the sort of music I usually go for but I like her stuff. Also check out this video on YouTube for the song "Fidelity" off of her new album. Fun!

I am posting this from a Compaq Presario Pentium II with 64MB of RAM running Windows 98, using Netscape 6.1. This is the only computer I've got in the apartment that's currently working and ready to use for web browsing, though, so it's got to do.
